About Giselle

I am an occupational therapist who graduated in 1987.

I have experience working in general and rehabilitation hospital settings from 1987 to 1991. This included working with clients with various medical conditions including amputations and those who have had a stroke. I worked from 1991 to 1993 as an occupational therapist on a burn’s unit.

I have been case managing rehabilitation programs for clients since 1994 under various schemes. I have assisted clients with brain injury, spinal cord injury, other physical conditions and mental health conditions to return to meaningful activity and to work.

This includes assisting clients to identify their rehabilitation needs and to develop SMART goals that are client-centered to meet these needs.
My aim is to maximise client independence in achieving their goals related to medical care needs, engagement in meaningful psychosocial activities and engagement in vocational activities if able to.
